Our Mission is to empower California's marginalized and underinvested Black and
BIPOC youth by providing comprehensive youth development, leadership development,
mentorship, mental health, workforce development, and healthy living services. Our
mission is to foster resilience, promote well-being, and create pathways to success for
all young people.

Wrapround’s Elevate Youth California is a Sacramento and San Bernardino Counties
program that empowers Black youth ages 12 to 26 living in communities
disproportionately impacted by the war on drugs. Through funding and technical
assistance from the State of California, the program supports Wraparound’s work with
youth to build their leadership skills, advocate for positive policy change, and prevent
substance use disorder.

- Youth-centered approach: The program prioritizes youth leadership and
activism, empowering young people to be agents of change in their communities.
- Focus on healing: Wraparound supports healing-centered programs that
address the trauma and harm caused by the war on drugs.

culturally appropriate practices that resonate with the youth we serve.

local Black youth.
